<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter from the court of the Nagid Samuel, to Maḍmūn ‘the Prince and great one among Israel’ b. Ḥasan, the representative of the merchants in Aden, regarding establishing a trustee over the estate of Ḥalfon b. Šemarya ha-Levi, who was shipwrecked near Aden. The letter mentions Abraham b. Joseph, of al-Mahdiyya in Tunisia (known as the son of the greengrocer), as a potential trustee. </p>
