<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter, c. 1051 CE, to ʿEli he-Ḥaver ha-Meʿulle b. ʿAmram, in Fusṭāṭ, urging the recipient to receive Moses b. Joseph the Spaniard, an accomplished scholar and diplomat in the service of Ṣamṣām al-Dawla, ambassador of the Islamic ruler of Sicily, as he is a worthy man and not in need of financial support. </p>
