<p style='text-align: justify;'>Recto: letter, c. 1050 CE, written and signed by ʿEli ha-Mumḥe b. Abraham, to David and Mevoraḵ b. ʿAmram, in Fusṭāṭ, informing them of his woes. Having been falsely sworn against, he had been forced to flee from prison and make his way to Fusṭāṭ to seek the help of Ḥesed (Abū Naṣr Tustarī), but as this potential benefactor had been murdered, he is now seeking financial assistance from the two brothers. Quotes Isaiah 17:4 and 24:13. Verso: the letters בה, written in a different hand to that on the recto. </p>
