Šemarya, in Fusṭāṭ, in which Solomon introduces the bearer of the letter, Samuel b. Sahl, from the land of Ḵorāsān (i.e. Khurasan, NE Iran), who has shown the Gaʾon a letter of recommendation from Saʿadya b. Moses, a merchant from Seville, Spain. </p>
