Samuel ha-Sefaradi (late 11th- 12th c.) concerning the correct pedagogical approach to the teaching of Hebrew, in response to a case of a teacher who teaches without 'the alphabet (al-hijāʾ) and the points (al-nuqaṭ)'. Written in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Manasseh and signed by Isaac b. Samuel ha-Sefaradi. 12th century. </p>
