<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter, c. late 12th century, written on behalf of, and signed by, Sar Šalom ha-Levi ‘Head of the Yešiva of Ereṣ ha-Ṣevi’ b. Moses ha-Levi ‘Head of the Yešiva of Ereṣ ha-Ṣevi, offspring of the Geʾonim’, to one of his patrons, Moses ‘Chief of the Priests’ b. Ḥalfōn, sending greetings and asking that the recipient sends him a prayer shawl. The recipient is in the habit of doing this whenever he returns safely from a commercial journey. </p>
