Cairo Genizah

<p style='text-align: justify;'>Recto: copies of legal documents relating to a debt (64 dinars and 20 qiraṭs) owed by Moses b. Šahryār to Joseph b. Jacob b. Joseph b. Isaiah, money which he had inherited from his father, who died in Damascus. The copies are all written in the same hand and run together on one page. The first document is dated 6th Tammuz 4767 (= 1007 CE). Witnessed by Abraham ha-Levi b. Yaḥyā, Yaḥyā b. Zechariah the judge, Jacob b. Mevoraḵ, Isaac b. Ḵalaf, ʿEli b. [...], and Yefet b. Isaac, attested by Samuel the Third (b. Hošaʿna). A certain (Mo)ses b. Maymūn is also mentioned. In the hand of Yefet b. David b. Šeḵanya.</p>
