<p style='text-align: justify;'>Recto: part of a Karaite legal document concerning the inheritance due to minors. Dated Tammuz 1315 (= 1004 CE). Three trustees (Aaron b. Solomon the moneychanger, Abū Bišr Nissi b. Aaron b. Baktawaya (בכתויה), and Joseph b. Yazdād (יזדאד)) of the finances of Sahl b. Joseph distribute his estate to his sons after he dies without leaving a will. The four sons are Abū l-Ḥusayn Joseph, Abū l-Ṭib Bišr, Abū Manṣūr Aaron, and Abū ʿImrān Moses (עמראן). The two youngest (Aaron and Moses) are minors and Husn bat Abū l-Tib Jacob b. Joseph b. Kušnām (כושנאם) and the trustees will continue to administer their share of their father’s estate. Verso: beginning of a draft letter from the (Rabbanite) community in Fusṭāṭ to a community in Sicily (מדינת צקליה).</p>
