<p style='text-align: justify;'>Part of a deed of indemnity, dated Wednesday 13th Sivan 1351 (= 1040 CE), in Fusṭāṭ, in which Ḥasan b. ʿAllūn Ibn al-Judayy confirms that he has received, on behalf of his sister Karīma, that which had been deposited with Ḥusn, mother of Hannah, Sarah and Isaac, the children of Burayh al-Šīrajī (i.e. Abraham, the maker of sesame oil). Witnessed by Ḵalaf b. Moses, Joseph b. Jacob, Ẓabyān ha-Kohen b. Saʿadya, Šela b. Saʿadya, Jacob b. Sahlān, David b. Ḥayyim, Mevoraḵ b. David, Solomon b. ʿEli, Jacob b. Abraham, ʿEli b. Ḵalaf, and Mubārak b. Israel. </p>
