<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter from the head of the Alexandrian Jewish community (Abraham b. Jacob al-Darʿi) to the Nagid Mevoraḵ b. Saʿadya who appointed him, reporting on local affairs, especially the favourable treatment accorded the Jews by the new governor with regards to collecting the poll tax from the poor. Ca. 1100 CE.</p>
