<p style='text-align: justify;'>Decree of Al-Ḥāfiẓ for the protection of the shipowners of the province of al-Nastarāwiyya, that are travelling to the sea coasts of al-Buḥayra, al-Šarqiyya, al-Ḡarbiyya and to the frontier region of Alexandria to purchase goods. The decree prevents the the governors and the governmental employees of these regions from requisitioning the merchant’s ships (which caused the loss of all their goods) and prevents the fishermen of the province of al-Ḡarbiyya from fishing along the shore. Dated 21st Rabīʿ I, 528 AH (= January 1134 CE).</p>
