<p style='text-align: justify;'>Deed of sale in which Yūsuf b. Yaʿqūb (‘the Jew’, also known as ‘the radish’), an apothecary, buys part of a house in Fusṭāṭ from Bušr, Ḡāliya, and Nadā, daughters of Abū Badr Manṣūr b. ʿAlūn b. Mīnā b. Andūna, the clerk. The house’s boundaries include the property of Abū l-Surūr ʿAlūn b. b. Mīnā b. Andūna (formerly owned by the sons of ʿAlān Ibn al-Ṣiqillī), the house of al-Surrī b. Sahl, and the house of the clerk Ṣāliḥ b. Nāfiʿ (formerly known as the house of Ibn Maḍā). On verso, Yūsuf transfers the property purchased on the recto into the hands of his grandson, Abū Saʿīd Hibatallāh, the son of one of his daughters. The margin has the name ʿAlī b. Yūsuf, the druggist. Ca. 11th-12th century.</p>
