<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter from the communities in Fusṭāṭ and Cairo to the community in Ascalon, dated April 1100 CE, written by Hillel b. ʿEli. Mentions that at the instigation of the Nagid Mevoraḵ 123 dinars were collected and sent to Ascalon for ransoming the Torah scrolls and the captives after the invasion of the Crusaders (in 1099 CE). Mentions Manṣūr b. [left blank], also known as Ibn al-Muʿallima (‘son of the female teacher’). </p>
