Topics touched upon include the necessity of avoiding quick changes to temperature and the condition of the body, possible illnesses brought on by the change of season and sudden changes in weather during a day, by Northern and Southern winds, cold applications as cures for haemorrhage, care of pregnant women, the connections between vomiting blood and menstruation, connections between breast tone and the life or death of the foetus carried by a pregnant woman and other problems related to pregnancy and menstruation.
