<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Communal accounts from Egypt, for the Mustaʿrib community of Cairo. The name Sulayman al-ʿAdanī (סלימן אלעדני) is written at the top of f. 1r. The first transaction is dated Tammuz 5349 (= June 1589 CE), and they continue to Nisan 5351 (= March 1591 CE). They include a record of how Mordechai the Judge authorised the payment of 3000 (unspecified currency) for ransoming captives. For a description of the notebook, see Arad (2017).</p></p>
