<p style='text-align: justify;'>Fol. 1r: contract for al-Faqīr (a poor man?) to rent property to or from Mūsā Qabā al-Yahūdī al-Rayān, specifically: اجف مكنه بالزواق بدرب قضيب واخر ما يستحقه الفقير قبل موسى المذكور ('the inner part of his place in the alley of Qaḍīb Street, and the rest of what al-Faqīr claims from before the aforementioned Mūsā'), with the lease extending from the month of Jumāda al-Thāni 993 AH (= 1585 CE) until the end of Jumāda al-Awwal the following year. Requested payment is 150 half-dirhams, paid as 30 half-dirhams immediately, then 120 half-dirhams in instalments of 20 half-dirhams every month beginning in Rajab 993 AH (= 1585 CE).
