Letter to Samuel from a physician travelling to Damascus, and describes how the writer had been honoured by the judge of Bilbays. The letter is in Hebrew but switches into Judaeo-Arabic for the final two few lines on verso, in which financial matters are discussed, including the information that the camel journey from Bilbays to Damascus had cost 2 dinars. There is an address in Judaeo-Arabic and in Arabic. The Arabic address states that the letter should be delivered to al-Šayḵ Abī l-[...] l-ʿAṭṭār b. al-Šayḵ Abī Manṣūr al-Bilbaysī.
