<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>A note apparently derived from information on monuments to the Burgoyne Family in Sutton (Beds.) church, including a coloured cutting from a reference work of the Burgoyne of Sutton arms and copy drawn of arms of Burgoyne impaling Wendy, possibly also taken from Sutton church. This Roger Burgoyne, 4th Baronet, married Margaret, sister of William and Francis Wendy of Haslingfield Hall (<b>200</b>). It was their grandson, the 6th baronet, also Roger, who inherited the Haslingfield estate when the male line there died out. He sold it to Balthazzar Lyell of Bourn Hall in 1733 (<b>49</b>). </p></p>
