<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Identified by Benton tentatively as of Sir Thomas Hatton, d.1658. See (<b>249). </b>But the arms of the hatchment lower right are of Hatton impaling Askham and so the accoutrements must relate to the 8th Baronet, Sir Thomas (1728-1795), who married Harriet daughter of Dingley Askham of Conington in 1752 (<b>129</b>), or one of two successors (John, 9th Bart., d.1811 , or Thomas Dingley, 10th Bart, d.1812) who died before Relhan’s time.
