<p style='text-align: justify;'>Black and white photograph of Maxwell's model showing a surface of constant negative curvature. This surface of rotation can be perfectly tiled by the small diamond shaped paper tiles. The tiling was carried out by Maxwell himself. For details, see the Life of James Clerk Maxwell by Campbell and Garnett (1882), pages 496-497. The model was made by Maxwell.</p>
