<p style='text-align: justify;'>Wilson's first and only cloud chamber of 1911 which he continually modified. By 1910, the rays emitted from radioactive substances were better understood. Wilson realised that he could image the tracks of particles by photographing streams of water droplets condensing onto ions created as particles passed through the chamber. (Longair, 2016, pp. 156-157)</p>
