<p style='text-align: justify;'>Snapshot from June 7th 1927. (from left to right) Henderson, Miss Mackenzie, Mrs Salaman, Hudson, Ditchburn, Powell and Wormall. G.H. Henderson is famous for his 1922 research on the electron capture. He returned to Cambridge for the year 1927-1928. Wormell was appointed Observer in Meteorological Phyiscs in 1925. His group joined the Cavendish in 1950. Cecil Powell developed nuclear emulsions for cosmic ray research at Bristol, for which he won the Nobel Prize. Ditchburn is famous for his book on Optics.
