<p style='text-align: justify;'>In 1935 J. Chadwick was appointed to the Chair of Experimental Physics at Liverpool University. The photograph was taken on his last day in the Laboratory. He played a key role in the Manhatten project during the Second World War. In 1948, he returned to Cambridge to became Master of Gonville and Caius College. Snapshot by C.E. Wynn-Williams</p>
