<p style='text-align: justify;'>The One Mile Telescope (OMT) at the Lord's Bridge Observatory. This was the first fully steerable aperture synthesis radio telescope, the precursor of all modern aperture synthesis interferometers. Ryle was awarded the 1974 Nobel Prize in Physics for the development of aperture synthesis techniques.</p>
