<p style='text-align: justify;'>Colour photograph of Kapitsa's helium liquifier in the Cavendish museum. It was the principal source of liquid helium for low temperature physics research from 1934 for the next 10 years. It was replaced after the war by Ashmead's helium liquifier.</p>
