Walking with Constable

<p style='text-align: justify;'>On a warm bright summer's day (24 Jun 2023) with some perfect "Constable clouds" <a target='_blank' class='externalLink' href='https://walking-the-landscape.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/walks/Walk-J/'>Walk J</a> was a journey from Langham to East Bergholt. We employed umbrellas to reduce screen glare at the site of <a href='/view/PR-FITZWILLIAM-P-00232-01954-00005-C/1'>‘The Glebe Farm’ mezzotint</a> near St Mary’s Church, Langham, which provides a challenging composition. As we headed in the direction of Stratford St. Mary, we hunted for the viewpoint of the <a href='/view/PR-FITZWILLIAM-P-00101-01954/1'>'Summer Morning' mezzotint</a>. Finally we made our way through the fields, like many farm workers before us, to East Bergholt, where we looked back at the view of the <a href='/view/PR-FITZWILLIAM-P-00232-01954-00001-C/1'>‘Autumnal Sunset’ mezzotint</a>. </p>
