<p style='text-align: justify;'>Photographs of the Industrial and Mining Exhibition (Chong qing gong kuang zhan lan hui 重慶工礦展覽會) of the National Resources Commission, Ministry of Economic Affairs, held in Chungking (Chongqing 重慶) in March 1944. The photographs were provided for Dr. Needham by the Propaganda Department of the Kuomintang Central Executive Committee (中國國民黨中央執行委員會宣傳部國際宣傳處攝影科). Photographs taken by Dr. Needham himself at the Exhibition are part of the roll of film SE3 (<a href='/view/PH-NRI-00002-00010-00001-00001-00004/'> (NRI2/10/1/1/4/74-81)</a>).
