<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>289 loose photographs, including some duplicates, and some overlap with the photograph albums, STC 22. Many are unlabelled. Most are portraits of groups or individuals, but some are of gardens or buildings. 31-2 appears to be a watercolour. 91, 93, 281, and 507 are hand coloured. 179 and 275 appear to be photographs of paintings. Dated c.1860s-c.1890s.</p><p>Some photos have detail pre printed either front or back or both and some have hand written notes and messages or dates on the reverse. Many of these correspond to entries in one of 2 photo albums from the period. Most are perhaps 3" x 2" but some are 5" x 4". </p></p>
