Cambridge Broadsides : A Continuation of the Names of All Such Noble Persons, as Have Been Chancellors
Webb, Francis 1690 or 91-1755
Cambridge Broadsides

A very large broadside on two sheets, giving the names of University officials since the beginning of the 16th century. The Names of All Such Noble Persons was originally issued in 1633 under the name of John Scot, and A Continuation, under that of John Ivory, in 1675. Francis Webb, whose name appears in the dedication of this version, was probably the scholar of Christ’s College who later became rector of Hargrave in Suffolk.
Will Hale, Rare Books Specialist, CUL
