Cambridge Broadsides : [Graces used at Christ’s College]

Christ's College (University of Cambridge)

Cambridge Broadsides

Two graces used at Christ’s College. The first, to be used before dinner, is still said at the College; a version of the second, to be used afterwards, was also used at University College Durham. The references in this second grace to Queen Anne and her then heir presumptive, Sophia of Hanover, dates the publication to the early eighteenth century, before the death of both women in 1714.
Will Hale, Rare Books Specialist, CUL
