1630: Thomas Hobson compensates a customer for the loss of linen he had been paid to transport 

 

In January 1629/30, James Bimce certified to the Vice-Chancellor's Court that he had been recompensed by Hobson for linen entrusted the previous November for delivery to Master Hill of Emmanuel College  but declared lost.
